I just heard Shirley JacksonhyphenLee tell Neil Cavuto how much `progress'
this administration made over the last four years!

If you call over 8 percent unemployment (the actual figure is far higher for
individual states; Florida: 17%, California: 20.3%, Nevada: 22.1%....and on
and on) rate, and with only three states having unemployment rates `under'
10%, a lot of `progress' for this president, well......

But what the democrats have to do is convince a mojority of voters that this
  president deserves another term:

CHARLOTTE -- The official start of the Democratic National Convention isn't
until tomorrow, but the Republicans are starting to bait President Obama
  anyway.

By H. Darr Beiser, USA TODAY

The Republican National Committee debuted a new Web video and launched
a website, with the theme of "Obama Isn't Working." The website will be
updated frequently while Democrats gather here this week to formally
  nominate
Obama to a second White House term.

"When Americans look back on the past four years under President Obama and
  ask
themselves whether or not they are better off, unfortunately they will
  answer
'no,' " RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.

"President Obama has not lived up to his promises he made to turn our
  economy
around and cut the deficit in half in his first term," Priebus continued.

"There are more people out of work today than when Barack Obama took office
and 23 million Americans who are out of work or looking for more work."

Expect the GOP to return to the "Are you better off than you were four years
ago?" message repeatedly this week. Later today, the RNC will hold its first
of several news conferences, as part of its counter-messaging efforts.
  Priebus
and Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah, a frequent surrogate for Mitt Romney, will
  speak to reporters.
