  This is a 56 Chevy Del Rey. I drove it about 100 miles to get it home, but  
  it was a nightmare doing so. No brakes unless you stood on them, no power  
  steering, so it steered like a heavy truck and the previous owner raised  
  the rear-end so he could get some wide tires under it. Shocks were bad, so  
  it bounced over every bump in the road to the extent of near  
  uncontrollability. Today it has power disc brakes up front, power rack and  
  pinion steering and the rear end sits where it did when it was stock and  
  sports new shocks too. I also added AC and a modern, yet nearly the same  
  looking as the original 56 radio so I can have some tunes. Then a 350  
  engine with a 700R4 over-drive automatic.
