  That and he felt like his constituents spoke out during the primary when  
  they voted for his challenger to be the nominee this Fall... a challenger  
  heavily endorsed by Trump that Trump (and likely AIPAC) stood up after the  
  current congressperson didn't tow the MAGA line (and, IIRC, voted to  
  impeach Trump at least once).  
    
  Blanche also apparently promised to oppose the Jan 6 defense fund and  
  another initiative that would have made the Trump family immune to future  
  IRS tax audits, and that factored into his decision.  
    
  I was actually shocked he didn't continue sticking it to Trump.  If he got  
  me primaried out, I sure would have.
