  The documentation online clearly points out that WineVDM is only for Windows  
  programs, and takes pains to point that out.  But in any case, it's  
  definitely  
  worth installing on your 64 bit system, if you have some Win16 software to  
  run.  
   I've found so far that WineVDM seems to be quite stable and useful.  Win16  
  programs run seamlessly alongside Win32 and Win64 ones. :)

  Well, SemPoint certainly runs well under WineVDM.  I haven't yet tried any  
  other old 16 bit programs.  Should try some more, once I can identify the  
  old  
  Windows programs that I want to run.  It's nice to know that 16 bit is no  
  longer off limits for me. :)
