It came through just fine over here until you replied to it. That's where it got mangled. JamNNTPd (especially v1.0 which is what you're using) does not handle UTF-8 properly on outgoing messages. I've tried compiling the latest smapi version to see if it would have any different results, but it is failing here: gcc -Wall -o jamnntpd main.o nntpserv.o os_linux.o sockio.o groups.o misc.o \\ xlat.o allow.o login.o mime.o -L/home/fidonet/lib -lsmapi -lpthread -lssl \\ -lcrypto /usr/bin/ld: misc.o undefined reference to symbol 'DosDate_to_TmDate' /usr/local/lib/libhusky.so.1.9: error adding symbols DSO missing from command line collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Makefile.linux:21: recipe for target 'jamnntpd' failed make[1]: *** [jamnntpd] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/opt/jamnntpd-smapi-tls/src' Makefile:15: recipe for target 'linux' failed make: *** [linux] Error 2 I'll make sure to crosspost this to the JamNNTPd echo as well, in case anyone is still paying attention after all these years. :) Regards, Nick --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20130910 * Origin: Dark Sorrow | darksorrow.us (1:154/701)
