  Oh I tried the other ways of doing things, and they all had shortcomings.  
    
  MBSE: Does a great job at gating, but it's areafix was giving me issues.  
  Synchronet: Required to much manual editing of files/configs.  
  Soupgate: To many bits needed bolting together, no areafix and manual
