  I'd recommend building from source:  
    
  sudo apt install build-essential git cmake pandoc  
  git clone https://git.code.sf.net/p/makenl/code makenl  
  mkdir makenl/build  
  cd makenl/build  
  cmake ..  
  make  
  sudo make install
