  Before I pulled my landline, I thought about hooking up an old machine  
  and trying that... I guess I could do some sort of coupler to VOIP  
  or something - not sure that would even work... :-)  
    
  I do use an off line mail reader and do .qwk u/l d/l for mail. :-)
