Well possibly it is the tagline program that has the Y2K bug. But the other
problems that I have with TERMAIL makes me start to look at other programs.
Termail will not pack the bases nor will it mass delete mail. None of the
ALt-M functions work from the main screen. I have a messgege base with 0
messages in it that is 5 Meg in size because I can't compress it.

It would have been wonderful if someone who had programming experience would
have updated the program either from the source code or by reverse
  engineering
after the program was abandoned by the author many years ago. I am
  surprised
that the web page is even there, but I don't think that the files there even
work. I tried to download the file and install it to a new directory just
  to
see if I was missing anything or perhaps my EXE was corroupt but the file
  would
not install. Even if TER500 was updated the other support programs like the
tagline managers would need to be fixed too.

Seems like the world has forgot about FIDO and there are just a few of us
  die
  hards left.
