Description:
CoGoCalc is a surveyor's utility for solving coordinate geometry
problems. It was designed from the ground up around a graphical
user interface (GUI) that was intended to make calculations more
visible and less prone to error. CoGoCalc will work with Survey 4.0
(tm Simplicity Systems) data files and can import coordinate files
in ASCII format directly. It performs a number of useful functions,
such as traverses, inverses, bearing intersections, distance-distance
calculations, bearing-distance calculations, predetermined areas, and
more. It also contains a standard reverse polish notation calculator,
a set of drafting tools, and the ability to categorize points into
separate layers.

TEST version 0.70 directions:

    1. Copy all files in this archive to a separate directory and
       switch to that directory.

    2. Type COGO TEST at the DOS command prompt (C:\>) or execute
a similar command from any DOS shell utility.

    3. Evaluate (test) the software as desired

    4. Get help by pressing F1 at any location within the program.
For additional help, contact the author at the addresses
       below.

    5. Exit the program by pressing F10

Notes:

    * The file COGO.HLP must be in the default directory in order
to get help by pressing F1.

    * A file called COGO.LOG will be created or updated during
every CoGoCalc session in the default directory. If it gets
to large it may be deleted.

    * Key functions not described in the help file:

Tab/Shift-Tab - moves between fields on the command line

Ctrl-Page Up - zooms to fit everything currently displayed
                     into the zoom window

      Ctrl-Page Down - zooms out about 25%

Ctrl-Home - refreshes the current zoom (redraws the zoom
                  window)

Inverted "T" arrow keys - moves mouse cursor

~ key - left mouse button

    * Not recommended to run under Windows - most Windows graphics
drivers do not handle DOS applications in SuperVGA modes
correctly. No help will be given in configuring for Windows.
(This also includes Windows NT, OS/2, and Windows 95.)
