Q: Can I Upgrade my 2.05 version?

A: No, you can't. This version of Exitilus uses different file structures,
so there is no way to upgrade. When installing, we suggest that you put
this version in a new directory, or backup your old files and install the
new version into an empty directory.

Q: How do I register this version?

A: You can't register the Beta version, because, well, it's a beta version.
Once we reach Exitilus v.3.1, then you may register the game! We feel that
it's not right to charge for a game which isn't completed, so please be
patient...you'll be able to register it soon enough!

Q: Will my old Registration Codes work with Version 3.1?

A: No, they will not. You will have to convert them through us. We will
probably be charging a small fee for this conversion, since we had to
re-write the entire game. We will cross that road when it comes....

Q: I'm running Wildcat 5! and Exitilus displays everything line-by-line,
   and very slowly. What's wrong?

A: This has to do with your Virtual ports under Windows. You will have to set
them up differently in order for Exitilus to work. We have had reports of
people getting it to work, but we know nothing about Wildcat, so you are
on your own. Sorry about that! ***See Question Regarding Slow Display
   later on in this file***

Q: When trying to start a new user, the game keeps asking for my name and
   won't stop.

A: This has to do with your upgrade from the old version. Somewhere, somehow,
the player.dat file became corrupt. The only fix is to do a complete
reset. This will fix the problem.

Q: I'm running Renegade and Exitilus ocassionally crashes...

A: That's odd. We've only heard one report of this, so if you are having
trouble, e-mail us the specifics of your setup, etc. and we'll see what we
   can do!

Q: WWIV doesn't want to work with Exitilus's door.sys or chain.txt formats.

A: Exitilus ueses the GAP version of door.sys. So, I guess there's a
converter program called wwivtogap.zip or something like that. Grab that
   file and try it again.

Q: When running Exitilus under Wildcat 5! and Windows '95, I can't get it to
display the ansi screens fast. They go line-by-line, and very slow.

A: This has to do with your virtual ports(we think). However, it will work
fine if you load a fossil driver before you run Exitilus. Exitilus will
use a fossil automatically if detected. We've heard people using X00 or
BNU got Exitilus to run fine.

Q: Exitilus locks up occasionally when a user does a monster fight. What's
   wrong?

A: That had to do with our random functions. We stuck a limit on them and
that problem shouldn't occur again! Thanks for pointing it out!
