  Winsock RCMD.DLL provides a Windows Sockets
  compatible routine similar to the Unix "rcmd"
  library function that allows you to execute
  commands on a remote host (i.e. Unix) over
  TCP/IP from within your program and retrive
  any output of the command.  Works with almost
  any language that can call DLL's.

  Winsock RCP.DLL provides a Windows Sockets
  compatible routine that allows you to copy
  files to and from remote hosts (i.e. Unix)
  or between two remote hosts over TCP/IP from
  within your program.  It can do recursive
  copies text file conversions on the fly.  It
  functions like the TCP/IP "rcp" command and
  works with most languages that can call DLL's.

  Winsock RCP/RSH are Windows Sockets versions
  of the RCP and RSH commands commonly found
  on Unix systems.  RCP copies files between
  the PC and a remote host (i.e. Unix) or
  between two remote hosts.  It can do
  recursive copies and text file conversions on
  the fly.  RSH allows you to execute commands
  on a remote host and view or capture the
  output to a file.

  Winsock RSHD is a Windows Sockets version of
  the Unix Remote Shell Deamon.  It accepts 
  requests for commands from the "rsh" command,
  either from Unix or other PC's, and runs them
  on the PC.  It also allows file copies to and
  from the PC via "rcp". Security can also be
  enforced.  A special "SendKeys" extension
  allows some remote control of the Windows
  commands executed via "rsh".

  XFINGER reads users and hosts from a config
  file, and fingers the hosts every 40 seconds
  (default). If the users are logging on the
  hosts you specified, XFINGER will notify you
  by displaying that information on a windows(
  and optionally, ring a bell). By doing this. 
  you can know if specified users are logging 
  in or out, when, and where.
