A unit containing many functions for
  handling I/O operations and returning
  the error code in the function return,
  though any that encapsulate BP functions
  will return that information in the
  function return and the error code in a
  VAR parameter, i.e.  the EOF function
  here is still Boolean and returns the
  error as a parameter.

  This program will scan one or more *.pas
  files for compiler directives, getmems and
