|    Preventing an app from being run remotel    |

From: otie_nospam@cox.net              I have an expensive VB6 program that I do not want other people to operate       on a "time-share" or remote basis. Here is the scenario:              User A buys my program and sets it up on his computer with all the license       codes, etc. But now user A connects with others via TeamViewer.exe or some       other remote access program so that they can run his fully licensed program       without my permission and in the process he sells this "time-share" computer       time and makes money from it, thereby creating a situation where others       don't have to buy my program and can operate it with full-features enabled.              Is there anything I can do in VB to stop people from running/operating my       program via a remote connection? Is there any way to block remote mouse       operation or remote keyboard operation such that only a local mouse or local       keyboard has any effect?              Thank you.                     Otis              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
