|    Logging into to a Server    |
|    06 Nov 04 06:03:32    |
From: daimon_ct@hotmail.com              Hello All,              I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. This is outside of       my experience with VB. I have an application (written in VB.NET) that       allows a user to enter a part of the file name and all matches in a specific       directory are copied to the user's desktop. It's a simple but useful tool.       Now an outside company requires access to the data. The files have been       moved to a server accessible via the internet (i.e. outside the firewall) so       the other company can access the files. Both companies are going to use       this program. Since this server is not on our (or any) domain I must log       into that server. Therein lies my question. How do I programmatically       supply a user name and password to the server? We do not want the other       company to know the user name and password to the server.              Thank you for your help.                     Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
