|    Help Needed Basic Language Statements    |

XPost: comp.lang.basic.visual       From: gonor@adelphia.net              I have done a lot of programming some time ago using Fortran and various       varieties of the Basic programming languages, Hewlett Packard Technical       Basic, QBasic, Quick Basic.              With each of these languages there were documents (books, etc) which       categorized and explained all of the functions, statements, etc. and how to       use them. The documents explained the logic of the statement or function       and provided examples.              Also most of the books categorized the statements/functions by use: such as       branching, conditional branching, mathematical functions, loops, etc.              My problem is that I can find no reference to the Basic Language       commands/statements/functions within Visual Basic. I have three books, two       of which are from Microsoft and one from QUE.              Perhaps one of you can direct me to a link, a book, or other reference to       the valid Basic Statements/Functions/Commands to write the programming code       between the lines of Visual Basic object code.              Gary              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
