   | I don't disagree with you. Wal-Mart had a better business model than all
   the
   | other big box stores. The business I work at is a retail company, we are
   in
   | a cottage industry but we are the largest retailer. Why? Because we have
   the
   | stuff in stock when a guy call us, it is that simple. Most shops in my
   | industry stock very little and customers don't want to wait a week or so
   | while you order the stuff in and finally ship the parts out, so they just
   | call us.

I was a Wal-Mart customer for several years. Seduced by the prices and 24-7
hours. But I kept hearing gossip about their business practices, and finally
saw the film "Wal-Mart, the High Cost of Low Prices" on cable. I'm sure
there are two sides to every story, but it has seriously caused me to shop
elsewhere for similar or near equal value, and minimize the amount I spend
   there where ever possible.
