   | I have not seen that program, nor do I have the burning desire to look it
   | up. I will, however, make some general comments that may or may not have
   | been addressed by the show.
   |
   | 1) If the employees are being treated so badly, they can always quit.

They do. Their turn over rate is as great as just about anyone.

   |
   | 2) The reason Walmart can underprice the competition is that they were
   | good capitalists, doing exactly what they should do. They purchase a LOT
   | of stuff, allowing the creator of those goods to charge less and still
   | make money.

And that would be a good thing if they were purchasing good created by there
customers, but they don't . They exploit workers half-a-world away, because
they are desparate and will/can work for 10 cents on the dollar.

   |
   | 3) Consumers have the right to shop at any store they want.
   |

Indeed they do, and Wal-Mart capitalizes on their ignorance to the fact,
that by buying foreign goods, they are destroying their own future ability
   to earn a living.
