      From: ramrod@truthonly.com.Sword              When I was around 20 years old I went to a tec museum and they had a       generator there that had a handle on that you could wind to turn the genny.              Connected up was a switch that you could choose the power you generated to       go either to a light bulb (around 40 watts I would guess), or a about a 10       inch electric fan.              Winding the generator as hard and as fast as I could you could get the light       to light up but not to full brilliance. If you switched it to the fan you       had great trouble to generate enough power to get it to turn.
