   There was the time when, because it was new, this newsgroup brought together   
   all of us -with this common interest- to post or follow the group.   
   Now there seems to be so many different ways to take over and substitute for   
   this newsgroup, that I think we all are missing out on a lot.   
   I doubt that people are getting as much involved in discussions (everywhere)   
   because you have to be part of this, and this, and this site,,, all with   
   their adds and stuff.   
   How I long for something to come along that will just let people talk on   
   subject without all the ads and fluff distracting us all of the time.   
   Things happen in cycles.  Hopefully we will evolve to communicate through   
   words and thoughts again sometime.   
   ..oh then we will end up with all those cross-posts again ...   aarrgh   
   hopefully we evolve for the better
