|    Briggs and Stratton on methanol?    |
|    29 Mar 15 16:57:02    |
I have a toro gts 6hp which is built by Briggs and Stratton and I have       "converted" it to methanol... I put converted in quotes because the engine       runs fine on meth without any modifications.              If the engine doesn't run check/replace the spark plug. (Meth requires a       hotter plug)              One concern is that depending on what the fuel line and carb are made of they       will corrode over time. I run meth in my lawn mower for fun and am not really       concerned about rebuilding the carb and replacing fuel lines.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
