   Automation is great, but it can lead you down inefficient paths.   
   A wireless thermometer and an alarm clock to remind you to check it   
   can accomplish the same thing.  Maybe dock the allowance for all if   
   the heat is not turned off.  Turn it into a teachable moment... ;-)
