I'd be suited to a more rural life that's for sure. When you're a
single woman esp. one that is not so young, it's hard to make a move
like that. I would have loved decades ago to go up to some village
somewhere as I lived in one such as a teen with my folks. Loved it!

Soon I bet we'll all be wishing we were up in a rural community
somewhere where people look out for one another, esp. if someone or
someones come(s) along and the locals turn out with cocked guns to
make sure the peace is kept and everyone is left alone! God's
commandment say 'thou shalt not kill' but there's a lot of evil out
there and He's all for protecting ourselves against evil, for sure!

Many urbanites move to NH and then demand the level of service they were
used to. They can't deal with outdoor power equipment or grid outages or
wild animals or even lack of sidewalks, and tend to be overly suspicious of
everyone including town officials. I live near Massachusetts and worked
there and can understand why but I wish they wouldn't burden us their
paranoia and neuroses and demands. I think in Mass you can't even legally
change a light switch or faucet washer yourself. In NH we can wire and plumb
   the house we live in.

Gotta go. I hear the neighbor's tractor which he needs some help with.
