XPost: sci.energy, sci.physics       From: Impedance@UgotOCD.invalid              ...and the people complaining about noise becomes the higher pitch noise and       they'll tell two friends and so on..                            ----------       "Morris Dovey" wrote in message news:jfu9gt$dpc$1@speranza.aioe.org...              I'm fairly sure that people will complain if you (or I or sno or       whoever) inject too much noise into alt.energy.homepower. :-)              Until it's been proven or disproven, it's just another subject for       investigation. If it turns out to have substance, then it does sound as       if there could be home application - so it probably is on-topic for       alt.energy.homepower.              I can understand that the sci.* folks may well prefer to restrict their       discussions to well-established and well-documented phenomena, and       exclude speculative topics.              Meanwhile, I plan to continue as I've been doing and, if I have       something I think might be of interest to the group, I'll post it (or a       link to it) for people to see.              Today I finished the controller code that processes pulses from my       little Geiger-Müller detector and let it run for a couple of hours. This       weekend I'll try to get over to Radio Shack for a mini stereo phone jack       so I can plug in the detector and see background radiation. If RS       doesn't have 'em, I can add them to my next on-line order.              I still haven't come up with a circuit to monitor the reaction chamber       temperature (nor any good way to bring out thermocouple leads), so I       suppose that's what I'll need to focus on in the week ahead.              Somehow the actual work seems a lot less interesting (and goes a lot       slower) than talking about it. :-/              --       Morris Dovey       http://www.iedu.com/Solar/       http://www.facebook.com/MorrisDovey              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
