   You're right on the money about that, Don. IMO.  Some of us do believe   
   that reality is always stranger than the strangest fiction.  One thing I   
   do believe is that Tesla, while a great inventor, didn't possess a   
   knowledge of the theory and the applied mathematics of the phenomena he   
   was investigating, especially in the discpline of   
   electromagnetics/electrophysics.  IOW, he understood the cause and   
   effect without knowing the detail of what was under the hood.  That   
   doesn't detract from his accomplishments but does suggest he went down   
   the wrong alley more than once.  And the same can be said of Edison.
