I agree with Me. Terrel on this but I've scraped and abraided difficult wires   
   and coated them with flux and soldered them just fine.   
   The trick is prepping the work pieces sepetately and getting them heated   
   together simultaneously at the solder point but separate preparation helps a   
   good deal.   
   (((some wires need to be heated up really good first before they soak up the   
   solder)))
