|    MV Power Factor Meters/Measurement    |

From: arl_123234@hotmail.com              Hello, all, especially power engineers that plan MV distribution runs       for electric utilities. Say a 12470/7200 volt medium-voltage       distrubution system will most likely need power factor correction       capacitors at several points along its run from substation to users.       Are the capacitor kvar values and their location along the run based       upon actual MV measurement of lagging current at that location? If not       by actual measurement then how? Thanks for your reply and comment.       Sincerely,       --       J. B.
