What do the ideas provoke? Do you think that there'll be a queue on the
Clifton Bridge tonight of those wishing to dive to their death because I
   discussed it?

Are people really so stupid as to leap, shoot, hang or defenestrate
themselves to death because I have ventured an opinion?

Is 'Thomas Moore' to be feared because he is likely to kill himself? Or
is he to be feared because he is stupid?

Let's not be silly. People don't kill themselves because they are
incited by Usenet chats. People don't keep themselves alive because of
them either. If you wish to feel responsible for suicides that is your
affair - if 'Thomas Moore' who ever the fuck he might be, wishes to make
you feel guilty then that is more your problem than anybody else's.
Don't let an idiot grind you down.

As you said, I hope (rather than 'like you said'), suicide is meat and
   potatoes to us.
