I saw a guy on 99W going the other way hauling a riding lawn mower on a tow
dolly. The front tires were on the dolly and the rear tires were on the
pavement. I would guess his speed was around the speed limit of 55. I
seriously doubt that either the tires or the transaxle of a riding mower
were meant to handle this speed. No smoke when he went by and I didn't see
lawn mower parts on the road on the way home so I guess he made it.
