doing very well. good health. good work to do.
good people around to enjoy life with. kind of
you to ask and I do hope all is good in your world.

   > How's the farm?

the soybean Farm is planted completely in group 5 beans. trying
group 5 instead of group 7 this year to see if they well mature
any faster. I hope it works out cause I'm tired of cutting beans
in December when November should have seen the completion of cutting.
I need to follow the beans with some wheat this year to work the soil
and kill nematodes. no money in wheat but it sure is cheaper than 30
dollars an acre to kill nematodes. if the wheat is not planted by the
third week of November then it just sits there and never really takes
off. saying, hurry up beans and hoping for a November cut.

   > How's the bicycle?

that thing is a load of fun and sure has conditioned my legs.
hehe, no more cars rammed and no more ruined bicycles.

   > How's the DR chipper?

great investment. much better than the bigger one I had, that's
right sold that monster I did. anything over 4.5 inches is firewood
and I do hate being reminded of all the good limbs that never got a
chance to experience being firewood. the DR chipper works well and
is one of the few things I've bought that works as the seller said
   it would.

   > How's the camping spot?

getting a lot more use by my city friends as a result of the new
and much improved entry trail. we got 5.5 inches of rain last
Wednesday as a result of tropical storm alberto and the trail was
not washed out. working with nature and mother earth kind of has
the result of making stuff last longer.

   > Are you keeping That Cretin in line?

he's always good for a LOL. in his last attempt to be cute he cited
an article stating how NC had voted for gwb. the article went on to
explain how the demographics had changed severely in NC with hundreds
of thousands of people relocating to NC seeking or obtaining employment
in HIGH paying jobs at RTP [research triangle park]. as is most often
the case, people residing in the upper middle income cast will support
the conservative party while hoping for tax cuts. anyhow, I did the
[cut & paste] of that portion of his cited article and thanked him for
finally gaining some insight into what I'd been telling him and dan
concerning how a large influx of new comers changes what was into what
is. he's been quit now for awhile. maybe he'll come out to play again
   later.

   ?
I just can't keep up with everything and ALL the places you go girl.
as a matter of fact I was surprised to run into you while reading
   [misc.rural]. pleasantly surprised :)

oh oh! we got a new toy at our shoot sports club. one of those
little gas powered remote control cars. we run it back and forth
along the bullet impact line with balloons tied to the bumper.
the blue balloon is the hostage person and the red balloon is the
hostage taker. the object is to pop the red balloon without popping
the blue balloon. loads of fun and the balloons, well depending on
who is there, last a long time too. it's a 200 yard range.

snakes! black, green or king are good and I step on past them.
snakes in the house has not yet been an issue however the barn
   is another story for later.

happened to notice the blackberries at the pond this afternoon. they
are about 50% ripe. PIE! COBBLER! with the ones that make it back to
   the house.

an image of some trespassing pothead being spooked and running off
scared adding littering to their crime of trespassing. LOL

as always be happy and take good care of Sharon.
