   I think so.  One emergency service call and you've covered the annual   
   cost of membership.  Plus, the peace of mind is worth quite a bit even   
   if you never use it.   
      
   And they offer considerable ancillary benefits - trip planning, travel   
   discounts, very competitive rate auto insurance, a good travel agency,   
   and the like - at least some of which is useful to most folks.
