   It's never been longer than an hour and a half on my calls - admittedly   
   not very many but perhaps a half a dozen over the last 15 years.   
      
   And those were all non-emergency calls - they move emergency calls to   
   the head of the line and their response is quicker on those.   
      
   Indeed, the first question they ask on an assistance call is "are you in   
   a safe place?"   
      
   Now, if you've slid off the road in an ice storm and sixty-kazillion   
   other vehicles are in a similar predicament, the response time is rather   
   obviously going to be longer.   
      
   But it's still gonna be shorter than if you called a tow company direct   
   yourself.
