   I'd say Hillsboro or Forest Grove should make the list, too.  Both those   
   towns have a tendency to outroast pretty much anyone during the summer   
   after about a week of warming.

   A somewhat more direct and far more scenic route would be from Government   
   Camp via the Mt. Hood Freeway US-26, The Dalles-Government Camp Highway   
   OR-35, and Camp Baldwin Highway/Dufur Mill Road USFS-44.  Just be careful   
   around Camp Baldwin as the camp is in operation this time of year and US44   
   runs through it.
