Granite       countertops or Formica? Hardwood floors or wall to wall carpeting?       How many bathrooms? Tile or vinyl on the bathroom floors? Jacuzzi or       shower stall? Or Jacuzzi -and- shower stall - in all bathrooms?              Shake, tile, or asphalt shingle roof? Minimum code on insulation or       maximum energy efficiency?              How many stories?              There's construction and then there's CONSTRUCTION and top of the line       across the board can be two and a half or three times the cost of "just       code".              The average in Portland is about $120 per sq. ft. But Portland builders       tend towards the more upscale construction.              Peace and justice,              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
