Stayed a couple weeks ago at the county poor farm. Brothers who've built
a couple brew pubs took a long time but rehabbed Edgefield (was that the
original name?) after it had spent many years as a decaying ruin, and
now it has 3 restaurants, a winery and brwery, gardens you can wander
for hours, and rooms that are spartan. Aside from wild murals and
pictures painted on every surface, there's no TV, no phone, and a
bathroom down the hall...but it seems very popular. McMenamins.
