   Very sad... A reminder of just how fragile human life can be.   
      
   I understand he tried to save his family buy leaving the car.  He   
   probably didn't understand just how remote the terrain was around him.   
   Experienced Oregon travellers will get nervous just crossing the   
   Siskiyous on I-5, let alone attempt driving the backroads during a   
   major storm.  It doesn't sound like he understood this.
