   when you made your choice to utilize the word 'stupidity' I   
   immediately felt your word selection was a more than adequate   
   descriptor and thus decided to reuse the word in my reply.   
      
   now we are supposed to feel sorry for these individuals and   
   toss large amounts of expensive resources into an all out   
   display of compassion as we seek to rescue them from their   
   own 'stupidity'.   it would seem anything less would make   
   us a rather cruel society.
