   There was a fireball and associated sonic boom in BC last night.   
   Ha, I wonder if it was a UBC Thunderbird.   
      
   I’ll take it as an auspicious sign, since though I am now   
   in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Vancouver is the other end   
   of my baseline (similar to Medina to Mecca for Mohammed   
   or Nazareth to Jerusalem for Jesus).
