   You are not an authority that Scripture has to answer to. Your ideas are   
   not consistent with what God said. Therefore you're wrong. I don't care   
   what you "think" or "feel", or claim the "Holy Spirit" told you. Unless   
   and until your understanding is consistent with Scripture, you're wrong   
   and self-deluded.   
      
   Saving faith IN CHRIST comes by hearing the written and proclaimed word   
   of God:   
      
   A) God's written word imparts saving faith in Christ.   
      
   “And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples,   
   which are not WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK; but THESE ARE WRITTEN THAT YOU MAY   
   BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you   
   may have life in His name.” (John 20:30–31, NKJV, emphasis mine)   
      
   B) God imparts saving faith in Christ through the proclaimed word   
      
   “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”   
   (Romans 10:17, NKJV)   
      
   “Now I would remind you, brothers, of the GOSPEL I PREACHED TO YOU,   
   which you received, in which you stand, and BY WHICH YOU ARE BEING   
   SAVED, if you hold fast to the WORD I PREACHED TO YOU—unless you   
   believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I   
   also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the   
   Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in   
   accordance with the Scriptures,” (1 Corinthians 15:1–4, ESV, emphasis   
   mine)   
      
   Conclusion: This is why Paul urged Timothy:   
      
   “Take heed to yourself and to the DOCTRINE. Continue in them, for in   
   doing this you will SAVE both yourself and those who hear you.” (1   
   Timothy 4:16, NKJV, emphasis mine)
