   No, I am sorry, it most certainly does not.   
      
   Do yourself a favour, actually read what has been written below and try   
   to understand. You can't hear others if you don't stop to hear them.   
      
   You hear about the Lord in the scriptures, but faith in Him comes   
   directly from Him.   
      
   You just have to do what the scriptures say.   
      
   John 6:37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that

   When you're a sinner pushing out your own vision, all you see is what   
   you want to see and see what seems so right in your own eyes and do not   
   hear the subtle, meek, and humble—beautiful—still small voice of the   
   Lord. Sin blinds a man to the truth because he is walking (and   
   exchanging) in a lie.   
      
   Regarding scripture like Tim 4:14-16. Very simply put: If I am led to go   
   shopping to buy some food to eat, is shopping the food to eat? Neither   
   is the written word (it) the Lord Jesus in Person; [He] is the Saviour.   
   I am sure if God wanted the scriptures to be The Saviour, He would have   
   found a way to make that the case, but He didn't; He sent His Son, and   
   Himself in His Son, but had to leave because faith IN HIM had to be   
   through the Holy Spirit.   
      
   John 20:29  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,   
   thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have   
   believed.   
      
   Bear in mind, no one in the Old was saved by the scriptures. They all   
   waited for the coming Personal Saviour Person, for the presence of the   
   Messiah Himself. Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son   
   is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name   
   shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting   
   Father, The Prince of Peace.   
      
   Not, unto us the scriptures were born.   
      
   I can give you my testimony of how I came to Him, if you like, but I   
   can't see you having any regard for that. Well, an example or two,   
   anyway, but to write it all down would take a big book to be written, as   
   any life would.   
      
   ***But it is really all about the Lord being satisfied that you are   
   going to go with Him.*** If the Lord does not see that in a man's heart,   
   there is no point in Him trying to "gather" that man as a hen does her   
   eggs and freeing him of the burden he freely chooses to hold on to.   
   Pilgrim's burden, for example, he wanted rid of it; he was not trying to   
   find a way to live with it. Are you hearing?   
      
   Isn't that the truth, this world is a burden that men freely choose to   
   hold on to? But you can't have it both ways—two masters. As you have   
   seen in the rich young ruler who was required to let go of everything,   
   there are only two directions; a man cannot walk in both.   
      
   As the Lord has said over many years, "All or nothing."

   Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord. John   
   10:30  I and Father are one. If you can't see that the Lord Jesus is the   
   everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.   
      
   Colossians 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.   
      
   Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were   
   YET sinners, Christ died for us.   
      
   Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it   
   is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.   
      
   Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt   
   are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
