   Had never been a judge before, and after they put it on scotus   
   she showed plenty of times early on she did not know basic procedures for the   
   court that any judge would know from experience.   
      
   Usually with an appt like that they make them a district judge first before   
   they elevate them to scotus.   
      
   The typical procedure is to elevate an existing judge to the highest court.   
   There were plenty of qualified people. She was an agenda based judge.
