|    Obamacare ensures healthcare is a right    |

XPost: alt.fan.neal.boortz, alt.politics.obama, alt.politics.usa       XPost: alt.tv.pol-incorrect, alt.politics.usa.constitution       From: Boortz@WSB.com              This week the Obama administration did not want to “celebrate” its       biggest achievement – the passage of universal healthcare … something       that Democrats had been clamoring to do for generations. Why didn’t they       want to celebrate their achievement? Because the American people don’t       like it. In an election year, it’s not politically expedient to celebrate       something that the majority of Americans don’t support. But to point this       out is “knuckleheaded reporting,” according to chief propagandist Jay       Carney.              It also may not be wise to celebrate a law, which is being reviewed by       the Supreme Court starting on Monday! Our guy Jamie Dupree will actually       be sitting in on the historic ObamaCare hearings next week! Hopefully       this time he won’t be behind a pillar.              Ahead of the Supreme Court hearings, Princess Pelosi is confident that       ObamaCare honors the “vows of our founders.” She calls the legislation       “ironclad constitutionally.” I guess we will have to wait and see what       the Supreme Court has to say about that. Pelosi is also the loon who said       that ObamaCare would produce hundreds of thousands of jobs almost       immediately, and perhaps her most famous statement of all, we were going       to have to pass the 3000 page bill so we could find out what’s in it.       Amazing.              At the heart of Democrats’ fondness for ObamaCare is their belief that       healthcare is a right. Princess Pelosi recently made that abundantly       clear: “After 100 years of trying, finally we passed health care for all       Americans as a right for all — not just a privilege for a few. It honored       the vows of our founders: Of life, a healthier life; liberty; the freedom       to pursue our own happiness.”              Healthcare is now a right for all? Really? You know what this means,       don’t you? It means that you have the right to harness the police power       of government for the purpose of depriving another of either a portion of       their life or some of their property … whatever it takes .. in order to       fulfill your “right” to health care. You have a RIGHT to it, thanks to       Democrats like Nancy Pelosi. She goes on: "A healthier life, the liberty       to pursue happiness, free of the constraints that lack of healthcare       might provide to a family. If you want to be a photographer, a writer, an       artist, a musician, you can do so. If you what to start a business, if       you want to change jobs, under the Affordable Care Act, you have that       liberty to pursue your happiness."              Amazing, don’t you think? If you want to be an artist, or a musician …       maybe even a tiresome poet … and you have to deal with pesky little       problems like actually having to earn a living so that you can afford       your health care … you simply tell the government to go find someone else       who has live their life more responsibly than you … and take that       person’s money or property away from them, at the point of a gun, if       necessary, and use that money to pay for your health care so that you can       play your cello or write your poems. Yeah … that’s certainly the way       American is supposed to work. That’s just what our founding fathers       envisioned.              And then there’s the birth control thing. How, pray tell, did we get to       the point that a woman who wants to have sex, but who doesn’t want to be       out of pocket for her condoms or other forms of birth control, can tell       you that you have an obligation to play for her birth control pills? It’s       her right! Hand over the money! That’s were we are in America today …       women have a right to demand that someone else pay for their birth       control so that they can have sex without fear of becoming pregnant.              Come to think of it … considering some of the women who are making those       demands, perhaps some conservative group should form an organization that       will provide women with all the birth control they could possibly need …       with one requirement. The woman must be a registered Democrat or must       have an Obama 2012 bumper sticker on her car. Providing these women with       birth control would be a genuine public service.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
