XPost: alt.fan.neal.boortz, alt.politics.usa, alt.politics.economics       XPost: rec.arts.tv       From: Boortz@WSB.com              While ObamaCare is top-of-mind, let’s talk about the Democrats and their       pitiful attempts to defend ObamaCare. For this we turn to Ditzy Debbie       Wasserman Shultz. She says that ObamaCare will be a “boon for small       businesses.” Seriously! She explains that this will be good for small       businesses because they will get a 50% premium tax credit on their       coverage. Getting a 50% tax credit for something that an employer is now       forced to provide is not a “boon” for business owners.              If brains were dynamite this lady couldn’t blow her own nose.              The truth is that ObamaCare will be the opposite of a “boon for small       businesses” because it will discourage hiring, particularly the hiring of       full-time workers! Keeping the number of full-time workers under 50 will       be key to those employers who cannot afford the risk of paying fines for       not covering employees. The Heritage Foundation did a study, which found       that the cost to an employer of hiring a full-time worker increases to at       least $10.03 per hour and for those with family health coverage, it is at       least $13.75 an hour. The result is that businesses hire less full-time       workers.              Also not factored into Ditzy Debbie’s talking points is the cost in terms       of time and money for complying with the avalanche of new rules and       regulations associated with ObamaCare. Bigger companies may be able to       absorb the burden of these regulations, but it will leave smaller       businesses struggling.              While we are at it, take a look at ObamaCare’s seven tax hikes on the       middle class. Those tax hikes are conveniently missing from Ditz       Debbie’s talking points.              http://youtube/CtwtSKbBQ38              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
