He believes that you should have the right to look out for yourself,
and not just accept what the government hands out. Would I have been
approved for carotid artery surgery, or the quintuple bypass heart
surgery I needed for my heart to be ready for it? There is a big
dispute about these, but I have definitely noticed the effect of
the bypass surgery in increasing my activity, among others.

With Obamacare, those who can afford it may well be prohibited.
The patient should make the decision, and now is at least often
in that position. Such things are unlikely to happen in a
   government run situation.
