dfaea975       XPost: misc.health.alternative, sci.med.nutrition, sci.life-extension              "Proof that Vitamin D prevents ColoRectal Cancer in humans              This research study is a good test of your I.Q. as a high level of       intelligence is required to properly interpret it.              The study NEVER bothered to define "CRC," But CRC appears to stand for       ColoRectal Cancer.              See Discussion Section of Full Text."              Giggle. No claim to "prevent" nor "proof" made, usual possible risk       factors identified which "may" and "influence" etc. etc. in an otherwise       standard paper.              conclusion, levels of age-related CGI methylation in the healthy human       rectal mucosa are influenced by gender, the availability of folate, vitamin       D and selenium, and perhaps by factors related to systemic inflammation.              Of the sevral factors, of which age was identified as the prime one, one       was picked out for reasons obviously not scientific. All in all, the above       remarks and claims have all the hallmarks of an amateur, no comment on iq.              Where oh where did all that anti-science ranting go all of a sudden.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
