At one point in my life, I worked at a Almumiun products company in
Virginia. I distinctly remember how a THEN young dumb-ass co-worker
employed at an aluminum furnace work asignment gave me a lecture on
what made his job so dangerous.

I eventually changed jobs. I stopped assembling aluminum windows and
instead went to work at an aluminum furnace, located in another
   company.

My parents came down to visit and took me out to eat.

At the very moment, there was a lot of commotion going on in this
small town. For your see, the aluminum furnace at where this idiot
had worked at had just blown up.

The company wrote it off as just another industrial accident. This
person of my age got burns over about 90% of his body, hung onto life
for about one month, and then died. His other buddy who was working
with him died pretty much immediately.

The accident was pretty much an absolute certainty. They cut their
aluminum windows trim to size with electrical saws that were
lubricated with water. Scrap aluminum was collected in bins and then
throw into the furnace at 1,600 degrees, to be recycled. Throw a can
of Pepsi into a 1,600 degree furnace and it goes off like a bomb.

Of course, if the fool had any enemies it might have been a perfect
   murder.

Since then, I have long since wised up.

I absolutely refuse to commit suicide for anyone or any company.

You would have to be a fool to work 16 hours a day for the man, as
some of these conservative talk shows claim that everyone should do,
just to be screwed over, and taken advantage of by your employer.

Go whine all you want to, conklin. I do NOT see either you or Bush
working themselves to death for minimum wage.

Sorry to disappoint you, but my days of being a fool are long over.
