   Thank god that the Winter Olympics are finally over!    
      
   While I prefer the Winter Olympics over the Summer sports, this time the ONLY   
   thing that I watched was the opening ceremony.   The fact that all these   
   countries keep on blowing millions, if not billions on all this Olympic   
   nonsense cannot be ignored.    
      
   I am hoping that Brazil will be the first country to fail to complete their   
   construction in time for 2016.  May the Brazilian populace rise up and   
   overthrow their stupid government that is intent upon blowing all that money   
   on the games.    
      
   Listening to an athlete talk about their sport and their self-indulgent selves   
   is enough to give anybody early onset dementia.    
      
   Now, the NBC television schedule is finally back to normal.  However, since   
   NBC thought absolutely NOTHING about dumping their regular viewers in order to   
   cover a sporting event; that disloyalty can no longer be left unnoticed by   
   moi.  Therefore, I am    
   determined to boycott ALL NBC programming as well as ALL the incredibly stupid   
   shows on broadcast television in general in favor of what is offered on the   
   Internet, as well as VHS tapes (now going as low as 25 cents apiece) and   
   DVDs.  I mean how many    
   stupid singing contests can a person stomach?  Singing is pretty stupid to   
   begin with. I find that most music CDs want to make me spew, anyway.  The   
   stuff that I like is few and far between.    
      
   Then I might even dust off a few books.  Must be a bad habit of mine, but I   
   own at least a thousand books.
