XPost: alt.radio.talk, alt.politics.usa, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh       XPost: alt.politics.conservative, alt.politics.republicans       From: weberm@polaris.net              On Monday’s Mark Levin show, while President Trump attacked the       Freedom Caucus and other conservative groups that opposed RINOcare,       we congratulate the 18 members of the Freedom Caucus who stood fast       and opposed it. This is not about governing our way to the poorhouse       but restoring our Republic. But apparently the Republican Party is       not up to it so they trash the 18 men that stood up to them. Paul       Ryan promised in 2016 that Obamacare would be gone and committed to       repealing Obamacare. However his recent attempt to do this was not a       true repealing of Obamacare. The Freedom Caucus only wanted to do       what Ryan promised in 2016. The Freedom Caucus is exposing the       system for being as corrupt as it is. The American Healthcare Act       never actually repealed Obamacare. Instead of living up to their       promises, Republicans have turned their backs on repealing Obamacare       and now are reaching out to Democrats. In addition, if Barack Obama       himself seven years ago had proposed this exact plan that Trump       wanted, every single Republican would have voted against it and       condemned it. They would be going on and on about how we have to       introduce competition into healthcare and enable insurance across       state lines. Later, Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review calls in       to talk about how the GOP Establishment tried to pass the American       Healthcare Act. And Rep. Mark Meadows, Chair of the Freedom Caucus,       calls in to discuss his role in the caucus. After that, no matter       what Trump does to placate Democrats, it will never be enough.       Richard Nixon tried this, by creating department after department.       Nixon tried to buy peace with the more left wing Democrats and       moderate Democrats, yet they still wanted his head. The Democrats       hate Trump more than they ever hated Nixon and they took Nixon down.       Who believes if Republicans give Democrats $1 trillion they will all       of a sudden want to work with Trump?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
