The US did not just decide to       attack Hussein because he was a bad guy. There are plenty of other "bad       guys" we could have gone after before him. Hussein routinely ignored UN       resolutions. He did it for 12 years. He was warned over and over again that       there would be consequences if he did not adhere to them. He was a key       player in world terrorism. He funded it, supported it and as it turns out,       harbored terrorists within Iraq borders. He played the cat and mouse game       with the UN inspectors for a very long time. As far as helping in India,       hopefully the actions the United States and the coalition is taking to weed       out terrorists, will help in India down the road. It's a very long, hard       fight.              "Abhijit Bhattacharya" |
