   Of course, Cleo does get hammered on a daily basis - and also in these   
   newsgroups. Not the same as getting *nailed* however, which is no doubt a   
   foreign concept to her.   
      
   Many filter LHA, whatever René's nick is, and also dear Cleopatra - but to   
   do so is to realize just how afraid the right is - how fragile the belief   
   their own possibilities are. Underneath the bravado is an understanding that   
   they are *the minority* in this country, and their views - without being   
   misleading labeled - would not float in America, the land of the free and   
   the home of the brave. So they post to insult, demonize and - hopefully -   
   disillusion and demoralize the average voter. They don't expect you to vote   
   for Bush - they know better - but they hope to make you feel your vote is   
   not important, that their views are *mainstream.* And, underneath this is   
   fear - fear they'll lose it all. Stare them in they eye - they'll blink   
   every time :)
